I forgot that white throws off a similar shine to bare metal. Washing a white truck directly in the sun isn't the smartest idea I've ever had.

I had to grab my sunglasses 2 minutes in to washing the truck.

I have done that before. I washed my buddies white 03 Cobra a few years ago the night before taking it to a show and early the next morning, I realized that I missed a few spots and had to frantically hury to get it cleaned up.

try washing black in the direct sun, you wont be blinded but you have to do one little section at a time.

My old '00 Ranger was black, and it had so many scratches in the paint that I couldn't see the difference between dirt and a scratch. lol.

At least my 03 doesn't show scratches until you get right up on it.

I HATE black cars. Impossible to keep clean

My mazda was black and got dirty so fast. I cleaned it about twice a week.

if I want my truck to look good I clean it once a week, and by the end of the week it needs it pretty badly, its either super clean or pretty dirty (mud dity etc.) I do love seeing the reflection of everything around the truck when its super clean.

God Bella is black, i have a brush thingy that wicks up the dirt, my truck gets dirty from sitting.
