Re: Street bike pics, lets see them
Well this thread looks like it has fallin the way of a free for all so here is my contribution.
Chicks dig old bikes. This was before the tear down and I started building a new bike out of her.
Here is how it sits now
Started out as a 1971 BSA Lightning. Now the motor sits in a Flyrite Triumph Loner frame I modified to fit the BSA motor. Shaved and lowered Harley narrow glide. British style 1.60X21" front rim I laced to a spool hub, 3X16" Harley rim laced to a BSA B441 quick change hub. Mooneyes oil tank, James Maund plate mount, West Eagle seat. I heavily modified the Harley Sportster gas tank. 16" apes with 2" brass risers. I hand made the pipes and the rear fender I made from a trailor fender. I made the stuts as well. I have Chopper Dave "Cheat Death" foot pegs for it...Got a new Flyrite oil filter mount coming for it soon I love my bike

Re: Street bike pics, lets see them
I girl that drives a Ranger, and rides a 200cc two stroke (WOW) can post anywhere she wants if you ask me..
Oh, and to answer the previous posters question. My DRZ was a plain "S" version but I converted it to "SM" trim. Except for the front forks.

Haha why thank you Wish I still rode some. But got more into horses and less into bikes and sold it. The kid who bought it actually modded it into a road bike.

HA! thanks, it was my dads bike up until a couple years ago. He bought it with 5k I think, then rode it every year from spring to fall about 100 mile round trip to and from work. It has 18k on it since the new speedo, I think was replaced in 2004/5 It really seems like the more miles, the harder you ride it, the better it runs.

if you need tires, I recommend the metzler 880's. I've layed my bike down far enough to hit the pegs at around 50mph. Tires are AMAZING! feels like its on rails
