like said before, i should have clarified, the "Stanced" cars that have ridiculous camber and fender rub... i wanted to know what peoples thoughts were on those.

In my opinion just like a truck should not be lifted too high, a car should not be lowered too low. If they can not make it over a normal sized speed bump, then it should not be road legal.

you venture away from "stanced" and approach "hellafail" in most cases.

this is one of my favorite images from stanced nation

People like that Celica and several others are just a big a joke in that community as they are anywhere else.

I know plenty of trucks who are "too low" to make it over a normal speed up properly. If you have the skills to navigate it then, why not? We have taken our 9.89 GMC sprint out on city streets more than once and even going light on the throttle is more than enough to lift the front tires..... Should I not be welcome to drive it on the street so long as I abide by all traffic laws?

better yet, should we really be giving police officers tape measures to check how low a car is? I mean really don't they have better things to do?

yes, its a safety issue. i've had a black car behind me at night that was so low i couldn't see it behind my truck. through my legal tint on my rear window, it was invisible. he passed me, hit a dip and sparks flew out from under his car. would a vehicle that wasn't as low have created sparks? nope.

Was it sparks like this? I do believe there are laws on the books to stop people from doing this. Then again a few sparks here or there is nothing that is going to make me scared and if the muffler scrapped is all you saw.... I have done that on stock ride height cars more than once.

Sure there are people who do reckless shit and are stupid beyond belief, but should that not allow anyone to do it? There are already laws on the books against this too...

no, i know the difference between dragging frame and and shooting sparks from a lowered car bottoming out. having fat chicks in the car is different, that's the suspension crying out in pain.

You can't see a car coming up behind you, but you can see the car suspension bottom out?

And what part exactly did you think you saw? Mind you those who are that low pretty much all have skid plates to protect their oil pans and anything critical and It isn't like an axle or control arm scrapped.... sub frame maybe?

Trucks like this I'm sure are very happy with their suspension when driving outside of what is normal daily driving, but when you build it properly it survives just fine.

Then agian, I build my stuff to be driven, not a show piece. If breaks it breaks.... I enjoyed the ride.

I love stance done right. Insane camber, na. But dropped on coilovers, with correct camber looks sexy!

Generally speaking, If it is done to improve the performance of the vehicle, in my eyes it's beautiful. But once it isn't helping you at all and all it can do is "look cool" it's ugly
