Thumbs up The Official 18 Wheeler Thread

Show pics of badass 18 wheelers, talk about them, rant about them, talk about motors in them.

I've wanted to be a trucker and mechanic and this stuff interests me. So I figured I'd start a thread on this topic. So let the games begin.

First truck I ever drove was a limited edition `99 Freightliner Classic XL, 3406E Cat 585HP to the Drivers, 18 speed transmission.

This is the type of truck only it was Deep Tropical Blue #2

my buddie's got a dream job, working at pocono peterbuilt as their detailer. he also helps deliver the new trucks, helps customize 'em, and helps out at some of the shows they go to ( i got to go with for englishtown )

here's one of the nicer trucks they've had in the last few months. it's got over $50k in chrome accesories alone.

ya you think you would like to work on them untill you go to pull one in the shop and you open the door and the smell knocks you at. then you see piss bottles on the floor and evrything is sticky and nasty and you have to tow it into the shop becuase you cant even deal with it. lol but you do see some nice ones.

Our good freinds own a gravel pit and have 2 super nice triaxles, a 2006 peterbuilt 379 with polished aluminum body, and a 2006 kenworth teal colored! My mom drives for them just for fun. Also my uncle owns a 1999 peterbuilt 379 with over 2,000,000 miles on it

The only heavy truck I've ever driven is my father-in-law's dump truck. It's a 94 Ford L9000 with a 3406B cat engine and an 8LL fuller trans. That transmission has a bit of a funky pattern but it is perfect for a dump truck.
