Yeah i know what you mean.. China and Mexico makes their brakes with cheap parts and sells them for hardly nothing, then truck and trailer companies buy them, install them then put them on the highways with our loved ones.. To me safety comes first before price!! We make the our brakes with best quality parts on the market.. Yes our brakes are more expensive then others, but i guarentee you won't find another brake with better quality and performance than MGM brakes..

Stick welding is using a consumable electrode, with flux on the outside of the rod, or stick. Like in pipe welding, etc. Stick welding is what they used to teach first, then MIG and TIG. I usually stick welded, just to be a classic welder I guess. MIG, a great ape can do, but yes, that's what many people prefer now a days. Easy once you get the knack of walking the cup. Pretty welds for sure. TIG, is hard, next thing to an art form to me, and never have mastered that. Crap, I have problems sweating pipes!!!LOL

I drive a forty-ton haul truck for a local mining operation around KC Mo, also drive a bobcat, and a couple other peices of heavy equipment. Job title is operating engineer, and it seems to me like it sounds better than "I drive a haul truck" lol see pic below.

Hey man, everybody has to pay the bills! Driving that thing would make even the biggest lifted Super Duty seem like a toy I would bet...

Lol true, the blind spot in front of the grill is 40ft, tires are right at 6ft tall, and there's a little button in the floor you can step on and it air locks the diffs, so you have true 4x4 behind you lol.

Working on getting in at a manufacturing group. I would end up doing the yard work and the guy said they are putting a new roof on a building so I would be helping with that

Yep, normally you can only get like 30-35 ton on them without a tail gate. Loaded they run like 13-14 mph. Unloaded they'll run 33, and we have a Volvo that will outrun the cats, but it's only a 30 ton truck.

Now that surprises me! I'd have thought you guys would be way over my head. Then again, you've "only" got three axles. A 40 ton load is pretty much a normal load for me. I have hauled a number of 50 ton loads, which brings my gross up to around 157,000#. And don't say anything, but once, and only once, I grossed 174,000+. That's not something we normally do, or admit to! We're permitted for 160,000#, and as you guessed, that's only in Michigan.
It's gotta fun running that thing, offroading at it's finest!!!

Lol yeah, being that they are articulated, they will turn over with too much rock on the bed and will flip on you, happened to us the other day, you flip it back over with the tracko however that's spelled and keep on running lol
Also when empty they weigh 74,000 so normally with a decent load I'm right around 150,000 lbs. Normal day for us, I run rock about a 1/4 mile from that bin it's under about 45-50 trips back and forth a day.
