Happy to report that as of today I no longer work for an insurance company! But made sure I'm getting the cheapest rate possible before I left lol
... Now to follow that dream

I get to drive 2012 camaros, Chargers, rams, Chrysler 300s, fiat 500s, pretty much any new car you can think of. I drive wrecked (mostly little things like hail damage, door dings, or fender bender) rental cars from the airport to the body shop then I drive them back once they get fixed. Easy gig for $10 an hour and still being in high school.

How'd you manage to land that gig? That's awesome!

My best friends dad owns the shop haha. He has been getting a lot more cars to fix and he wants to keep his repair men busy fixing cars rather than going to get them so me and my friend transport the cars. Unfortunately its only a summer job though.

I received a call today that The Cleveland Indians have hired me as an usher/ticket-taker. It is better than nothing, and I look forward to having something to do.

You are very correct, and it is a lot better than having a blank on my resume for why I didn't do anything during that time. Plus, I approach every job the same way with the attitude that nothing is beneath me. I feel old fashioned in the sense that I really try to give my best attitude, and I wouldn't waste my time in a position or company that I had no interest in. I think that it will work out well, and I found out during my interview that the organization is hiring already for next season. So, unless something happens, I gain seniority and have a position at the start of the 2013 season.

Drafter for a small structural engineering consulting firm. I deal almost entirely with precast concrete buildings, parking garages, etc., ranging from a small tornado shelter up to 13 story federal courthouses.
