No they are one of the hardest animals to get close to. There only predators in north America are mountain lions and humans. But that's cool on finding them that close wish I could get within 20 yrds of them lol

i disagree, they are delicious and if you are having a problem with the fowl taste, soak them in milk overnight before preparing it. i have had goose jerky and it was by far the best way to prepare it. the next goose i kill, it will be turned into jerky. how did you prepare your goose?

----------

No deer for me in A zone this year, even though i saw someone haul a buck out and i know of 5 bucks killed in that area this year (i know there is more), im ready for C zone! we normally get x zone but not this year

Completely untrue! The group I hunt with shot a ton of geese last year (we had over 130 pounds of breast meat). We made goose summer sausage & goose and wild rice brats. They were delicious! and we also did some dinner dishes were we slice the breast into thin slices and soak them in a variety of marinades then cook them on the grill. Depending how you do this you can make goose fajitas to soyvey goose to bbq goose. Al delicious.

Although I do prefer duck to geese But I prefer a well cooked goose to store bought deli meat
