^ thats not a suburban! it's a raptor, that license plate is misleading
while i really like the raptor, i can only laugh at the specs i saw that said the ground clearance to the diff was ~10 inches. my stock 2wd ranger is ~8.5 inches. i have 30" tires, it has 35" tires

Do the math. 35" tires will only gain you 2.5" of lift over 30" tires, so that's about right. And the only thing you can do to get more clearance for the diffs is larger tires.

yea but does your ranger have the coils and the revisor fox's too. this truck can take a beating! look on you tube jumping the shit out of them and they don't even bottom out. they are at perfect ride height. its even wider then a normal F150. They were not going for the tallest truck in the fleet they wanted a pre-runner and not all pre runners are tall. it matters about the suspension. thats what really matters. They know what there doing. and to tall of a full size truck will lead to a roll over especially doing 65 in a the desert with all uneven terrane. that is why they don't have it 20 feet in the air.

Like your truck can do ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to a Raptor... Mine sure as hell can't.
It isn't built to clear 'boulders' or 'tree stumps' or anything like that....it's built for something much much different. Something that requires alot of wheel travel, both up and down. Do you expect it to have portal axles under it?

This truck is for real. I think some people have a hard time accepting the fact that a truck can do what this can do right off the lot.
Sure, Ford is in better financial shape than GM/Chrysler, but they don't have the resources to be bullshitting around. It is a niche truck, but it's a truck that never would have seen production if it wasn't the real deal.

it's all gooood. Under axle means nothing pretty much....it's a solid rear axle truck.....of course that numbers gonna be pretty low and nothing impressive like a hummer H1's like 15" of clearence! lol. Only way to add to that number is tires.
