Do you mean "can you" as in "is it possible" or "is it legal"? Cause there are two different answers there.
YES, many HAM Radios can be modified to work on CB frequencies.
No, you cannot LEGALLY operate CB frequencies using any HAM rig.
The Almighty FCC has decided that Ham Radio operators being able to operate their equipment on the Citizen's Band, MURS, GMRS, or any other NON-HAM set of frequencies is a huge no-no.
But, people do it all the damn time.
Sure, the FCC does prosecute the occasional ******* who was stupid enough to piss of a local HAM (HAMS just LOVE running off to taddle to the FCC for some reason, lots of people seem to think FEDS telling them what to do somehow legitimizes them as important. whatever...) and FCC punishments are VERY harsh. But all you have to do is turn on any CB radio in the USA to channel 6 on a Tuesday morning and hear the "Big guns" broadcasting their repetitive nonsense at 2000W and you can see how aggressively or compotently the FCC handles violators. (translate as :Lol, FCC)
ahem.. personal commentary aside, YES it's possible, NO you can't do it legally. Hope this answers your question.

Re: Anybody Use Ham Radio?
I just got my Tech license a couple weeks ago, call sign KD0UCE. I've already applied for a vanity call sign as I don't care much for mine right now haha
Going to take my General test the Saturday after next! I just got a BoaFeng UVR-5 Pluse HT and can hit some repeaters in my area.
Does anyone have any pics of where they installed their HAM radio? I'm trying to find a place that's out of the way but can easily tune and play with that doesn't look bad.
Hope to see some of you guys on the air some time!

Just scored a deal on an icom 5061D so I will be mounting that into the truck next week some time already have an antenna mounted for it. Up to 6 antennas now the truck is starting to look like a radio tower.
