jet ski
any body know if a kawasaki js550 for 100$ is a good deal it cranks up and idles not sure if runs good though i just dont wannt buy it and then be stuck with worthless junk

Jey skies are just like boats. They are sinking investments. If it is 100 dollars good chance there is something major wrong with it
I would ask the people selling it to allow you to take it to a lake and test drive it before paying for it. Does it come with a trailer?

nope no trailor and it needs a little fiber glass repair and i bet like you said 100 bucks theres something majorly wrong

I would still ask the people to test drive it on water. If they are unwilling to allow then walk away.

jet skis are really temperamental. since they dont use normal engines, stuff like dirt, leaves, anything can usually foul up the impeller pretty easily. i would stay away from a $100 jet ski. it will probably die within a couple minutes of starting it

I have jetski's $100 is a good deal if it run's.
You can part that out for more then $100. This time of year jetski's and boat's are dirt cheep. I got a 650 xs standup for $300 in the winter time i cleaned it up then sold it for $800 in the summer.

Me an two of my friends own a boat. In three years, we've used it twice and spent $1500 on it. I told them the next time it breaks, I'm scuttling it and swimming to shore.

I have a 99 seadoo xlp 95 seadoo xp the only money i have put into them were to make them faster. If you dont now how to work on them don't buy one.
I just sold a 89 650sx standup and made money. They are just like car's and truck's thing's break if you don't take care of them.
