The individual was very high and very drunk. Its amazing what the human body on drugs can do even after being shot multiple times. If you don't hit the heart or the head, they keep on kicking and screaming. He went down still shooting and once down, he was still holding the gun pointing it around.

Even the big guy was returning fire. You don't hear it because he doesn't have a body mic like the second officer does.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say in my previous post.

Indeed, an experience like that has to have changed the guys life, he's lucky to be alive and he probably knows it.

In Louisville anymore the crime rate, the drug and alcohol problems have increased dramatically in the last few years which have led to an increase in murder rates - and incidents weekly to almost daily... You see on the local news, read online or see in the local paper of officers in the line of danger at these scenes trying to get things under control... We've had some officers killed in the line of duty over incidents like this here - and some seriously injured.... Certain areas of the city are extremely dangerous after dark - and its not wise to even venture down there....

which one is you??

Just watch COPS sometime when they are trying to arrest some one all jacked up on drugs. Usually takes 6-8 people to get them under control. Most people say it is excessive but they dont understand

exactly.... you can't control a damn druggie when he's all high... I know from family experience how someone on crack can be when they're all jacked up... its living hell for the cops (and the family) trying to handle them... they're likely to do anything

The cracked out friends and cracked out family call it police brutality. Usually though, it is the police being brutalized by the raging crack fiend.

Usually they do - thats 100% true... But we didn't call it that.... my sis always called the cops when her hubby got high... But we're thankful that he's (so far) been clean now for a few years (and sober too)... Nothing like living with someone in your family that has a serious problem... I'm thankful that we have law enforcement that works hard to take care of the problems like that - but so often some of these guys are so high and out of it, that the cops lives are endangered...
