Thumbs down 15" of snow in NC!

Over the weekend got 15" 0f snow (12" on Friday & Saturday and 3" on Sunday) 5 trees down around house & Barn (that I can see). One tree directly on barn roof, one smashed fence behind barn. One tree across driveway and one right in front of house (did NOT hit house!). The fifth tree is just out in the open area near driveway.

We were out of power, water, heat and internet for 24 hours. Lucky it was only 32 degrees out!

Took out ranger (first time in snow) and it did great! 15" deep and did not stop truck at all! Phone was also out and cell phones Don't work on property. Had no heat for 13 hours and house stayed at 57 degrees. Then I brought in wood and started fire in fireplace till power came on.

Used two generators to mainly keep two refrigerators and one chest freezer going (4 hours on and 6 hours off).

Have lots of chain sawing to do today!
