Thanks guys, and we opened presents with my family tonight, going to her family tomorrow morning. My plan was to pop the question at the new years eve party my family usually has. But I figured she would want to show her family tomorrow. So after we opened everything I went and grabed the ring and held it behind my back while she was checking out a new purse she got and I said there one gift I forgot to give you. Got down on one knee and popped the question. She couldn't say anything. She just started crying and shaking but she held out her hand and nodded her head. Then had some other close family over and had a little celebration.
