Just talked myself out of a ticket.

I WAS in the fire lane, yes, but the "5 min parking" extended into the fire lane. Not only that, the truck in front of me has been there all mornign ( I got here at 8 est), so I couldnt use the usually available 5 min parking space.

I told him to ticket the other guy for parking past the posted time if he was going to ticket me for extending into the fire lane, he couldnt claim he was unaware. I asked him if he was there when he pulled up, he said yea. I said he is still there now, as weve sat here and talked for a few minutes right?

He let me off with a warning, he COULDVE given me a ticket, but I wouldve raised hell had he done so. How are the artist supposed to carry out stuff (I lugged a early model ranger hood in today for painting) when some idiot is using the place for all day parking? (Same truck has been there many times)
