Default Snow has finally arrived

Well, yesterday it snowed for a good 7 hours and caught alot of people off guard for some reason. I LOVE this snow because it means I get to wheel in it. I live 10 minutes outside of Saskatoon so I have to take the highway in everyday and I counted 6 people in the ditch already and its only 11 am.

Pic from outside my window right when I got up:

Anyone else get some snow already?

I hate snow, and I dread its return. I know that once it starts, there will be 5 months of winter. We average 1.5 inches for October, and the last almost two weeks we've had perfect fall weather -- a little crisp but I'm not complaining. If you watched the news, our NE states set an all-time record for the most snow this early in the season. In fact, leaves were still on the trees, and that caused a lot of the problems with downed wires, etc. Some areas got anywhere from 1.5 - 3 feet, and it caught them off guard. The mid-west (where I live) is expected to be very hard hit this year, and I do not look forward to it.

The more snow the better imo. Less traffic, LOL. 80 reported accidents on Sunday here in the city. Brutal. Wasn't even really THAT bad considering we usually have a foot or two of snow on the roads.

Chicago just had it's first confirmed snow flurries of the year today. So I brought in the outside garden hose in preparation of a long winter. My garage is cleaned out and the Ranger fits in with plenty of room to work on it or on other vehicles if needed. Got a 75,000 BTU ceiling mounted furnace for heat and a frig full of beer i'd say yes i'm ready.

St.Catharines(like 4 hours from Windsor) and don't have snow yet. Still in a T-Shirt. Heck, I don't put a coat on till its past my ankles anyways. I snowblow the whole driveway, cept this year I told my Dad just to plow it with his Hummer.

I want snow..but first I need to build a box to contain weight in my truck..should do that soon. BUT SNOW MEANS MORE PICS
