Need help from current EMT's/ Paramedics

I am taking my National Registry tomorrow and am scared s**tless. Any tips from anyone who has taken it? If I pass tomorrow I will have the rest of the week to do mods and upload more pics of the truck

i took EMT registry.... and man i'll tell you the same thing that i tell everyone that asks me about it.... DON'T SWEAT IT..... i know it means a different job and all that stuff... but most people fail it efore they even walk into the room.... they worry their self to death about it and then freeze up when the computer is in front of them.... take it one question at a time and read every answer and see which one sounds more right for the question that's being asked... they will try to throw you a curve ball on some of the answers....

form what my brother in law said take your time, hes failed the emt one twice now which sucks he knows his shit he just cant take tests worth a damn

I just took EMT-B. First time I took it I failed. badly. Second time I told myself I was going to pass this test no matter what. I read the brady book everyday till I could tell myself " I can't read this anymore I know it front to back". guess what I passed. I got all the way to 120 questions on the second time. Ask me anything because ATM I'm helping my buddys pass and It's still very fresh to me.
I'm also on my second day of fire school =D!! Class 191!

I graduated recruit school already =] My FD is reimbursing me for the class and national registry fees if I pass it. What's the brady book??

the brady book is a text book.... different schools/classes use either the brady book or i believe it's mosby's

Yeah. My FD sponsered me and i got the academy paid for because i graduated top in emt. Read your book till its beat in your head. Know your abc's and know all your vitals for every Pt.

Oh okay, yeh I have the brady book but it's f**king 1,300 pages long! I can't read that within 2 months lol

I took it about 9 years ago. Passed the first time. It wasn't any different than the tests you've probably been taking in EMT-B class to begin with.

chapters you need to study the most are airway, CPR, EMS Opps, medical, trauma, pedi, and OB. Know those chapters and you'll pass. Know your burns too adult and child.

Nah man. There's roughly over 40 chapters if I recal. Those are the chapters that your tested on but you should know everything (duh).

lol I just finished and it stopped at 70 questions... I will get the results tomorrow morning and I'm scared to get the results lol
