Little background first. I am currently a full time student doing a Cooperative Work Experience course at my school. I get credit for working in my field. I have an AAS in Diesel Technology, and I work for the railroad. I mostly stock parts and order parts, but I have to sign off defects and that to. I enjoy this job but I had way more fun working for Wyoming Machinery Company over the summer and wrenching on mine equipment. Only because I got to work on stuff. But the job I have doesn't allow me to.

I want to know what your dream job is? For me I would be doing the same thing I am now, I make ridiculous money, the thing I would change now is that I actually get to work on them not just around them.

Im Navy ROTC. When I get out of the navy, my dream is to open up my own custom shop. Love working on cars of all kinds and doing new crazy things with them.

I love doing custom work, I used to build imports for friends, I hate them but I made good money off of my buddies making brackets, doing turbo setups for them, electrical, etc. But I like working on domestics and hot rods way better, I miss my old 64 Camino.

do something extremely simple and get payed a couple grand a week.

I kinda do that now, trust me not that fun lol I like a challenge though.

dream job is where i am at i get massive $ for the set up of radio tower transmitters from the ground up!!! only bad is i move every 9 to 18 months to the next tower. some times i dont see the wife for months on end ? that could be a good thing

Do it! its the best thrill you can ever imagine. start taking some classes and work towards ur associates in criminal justice and you get a pay increase in most places. im working on my criminal justice stuff now. if you are interested or need any help feel free to i.m or just chat with me on facebook

Just to get into the police academy you need 32 college credit hours. I have 22 maybe a little more. I am 28 now and 2nd child on the way. I have no time for classes right now.

wow thats a bummer, where im at, you just work as a detention deputy and when you get a years senority, they will take you to mandate school ( police academy) once that is done, your a deputy..
