Good luck with the police officer thing. I have a lot of respect for what they do, even if I'm sometimes the idiot getting pulled over. Where do you work as a diesel tech? Anything exciting?

It iant a large company we do just about everything. New Holland, Case Ih, Cummins 8.3 5.9 3.9, International, Isuzu, and duramax

We are currently working on a natural gas project for tulsa schools.

Just recently we finished a complete swap for our city buses

Not bad, I work for GE transportation at the moment, I work as a technical director and mostly just do paper work. Over the summer I worked for a Cat dealer in Wyoming. I've worked on a little of everything. Rebuilt to boat engines for a friend, Dodge Cummins blah blah I have a lot of fun doing it. Propane is an interesting one. Is it still cheaper to run than diesel?

Caterpillar is a sore subject with me They kinda saw us as a little ant and did everything in their power to kill us. Care to hear I can PM you

I guess natural gas is the next "big thing" A lot of the International Heui and I308 engines are being transformed into it.

We were doing some CASE IH Legend 400 series into natural gas a couple years ago but the International NGD became the popular choice the past year or so

Yeah I'd like to hear your thoughts on Cat. I was working at Wyoming Machinery, they bring in stupid amounts of money for Cat because of the coal mines in Wyoming. I thought it was a great company but I know every place is different. The dealer back home just laid of a bunch. Natural gas is interesting to me, but I've never really dealt with it.

My dream job would be "Boy toy" for a few wealthy older women. Get paid bank to lounge around looking good all day, and every so often "deliver a package".

I think I'm past my prime for that one though.....

I currently work as a draftsman designing granite for buildings and stuff. Its boring. Sit in front of a computer all day with AutoCad. I'd love to have a job in my field that is more than sitting in front of a computer. I'd like to design something, then work with and see how it goes/works. Also surveying looks great, I'd like to do that, then I could do field work and office CAD work.

As a "dream" job I'd have to say pro bass fisherman. Get sponsered by a company, get a free $60,000 bass boat decked out with all the latest electronics, top of the line rods and reels, etc...and just fish all day and bring home millions a year (if ur good...lol) I'm no keven van dam, so this is definitly a dream job. Man what I'd give to get paid to fish all day!!!

P.S. Sorry my punct. And capitilization is crap, I'm doing this all from my BB.

My Dad did a lot of surveying, he taught me how to do it. He's old school with drafting and used to do it by hand. He's a retired civil engineer. I don't understand how he sits there all day and stares at that stuff. But the surveying is awesome fun if you can do the math with it.

As for Pro bass fisherman, good luck. And get out there and fish!

I currently work for a company that designs and supplies rebar reinforcing for concrete structures such as highway bridges and commercial buildings as a project manager/draftsman.

My dream job would is to be a gunsmith that works on and designs specialty firearms. 'Cause first you build it, then you shoot stuff u with it. This is not based off of the "Sons of Guns" show I have wanted to do this ever since I laid my hands on a firearm when I was a kid. I have always wanted to experiment with different things.
