I neeed help choosing!!! Asap
ok, so me and my buddies have been planing on going sky diving with the school next weekend since the beginning of the year. Im already registered but haven't paid yet. ive always wanted to do this and thought it would be awesome to do with my buds... Buuuuuuttt this morning my uncle asked me if i wanted to join him and my grandfather(who cant do this much longer) whether i want to go on a moose hunt with them. It is a once in a lifetime kinda hunt that would be even more special with my Grandpa. It is lottery won so it's hard to get. I feel as though i think im gonna lean towards this but i kinda feel like an ass to my buds and the coordinator who thinks im def. going, but you can kinda go when ever(but im missing it with my buds). Some advice or reassurance would be nice thx.

I would do the moose hunt with your grandfather. It is one thing to do stuff with your buddies but for a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something with your graddad is something that you will remember for a long time to come. And you can look back at it in the future if you ever miss him. Wish I had something like that to look back on with my grandfathers but both of them died when I was a young kid like 3 and 4 years old.

moose hunt. if it's with your grandfather who may not be able to do that type of stuff much longer, your buddies will understand.
and if you are all crazy enough to jump out of a perfectly good plane once, then you'r all crazy enough to do it twice you'll have another chance at sky diving, everyone i've talked to who's done it keeps going back for more.

Re: I neeed help choosing!!! Asap
i say moose hunt, ive done many moose hunts and they are simply amazing, and im a registered skydrive which means i can do solo jumps and you can also go skydiving with your buddies again when ever, those planes keep flying all the time, but hunting with your grandad on of those thing you my never get to do again so id take the moose hunt

X2000. I never got to know one of my grandfathers he died when I was 5 back in 1980. My other grandfather I did get to know a little bit but I never really got to spend alot of time with him and after he died, it haunted me pretty bad and it still does to this day, but not as much as it did. Go on the moose hunt and talk to the people about rescheduling the sky diving for a later time. You'll feel better about it knowing that you got to spend time with your grandfather later on. I have one grandparent left and she'll be 88 next May. I'm trying my absolute best to spend as much time with her as I can because she won't be around forever.

This. Family before all else IMHO.
Your buddies should understand.

Yeah.. absolutely go with the moose hunt.. if you buddies don't understand then maybe they are not that good of friends.. many have said it before but this is a once in a life time deal. 120% go hunting!

Re: I neeed help choosing!!! Asap
In any other situation id choose sky diving, but moose hunting with your grandfathee is rare. My grandpa died when i was young, and i never got to do anything like that. Family comes first bro.
