As for the frame bending that another poster mentioned, that was proven to be driver abuse and no fault of the truck. An regular truck frame would have folded if subjected to the same circumstances that bent the frames of those handful of Raptors on the same bump.
I agree on the GMC. Its a giant Bro-Mobile. Lift is too much, tires stick out too far. its trying to be an off the line rock crawler. The phrase "bought not built" comes to mind here.
Don't get me wrong, the Raptor is a slick truck and i agree, its one of the best off the line Baja-ready (for lack of better terms) trucks. As far as the frame bending goes, that would be a large selling point, I've seen the Frames up close and personal on just about every Ford Truck chasis (its what i do everyday) and i just think the Ramrummer or Powerwagon has a stronger foundation.

btw. Powerwagon is the name of the 2500 and Up trucks, That one you posted happens to be a one-of

I'm taking the GMC all day. It has more useful features to me then the F150 or the Power Wagon.

I love the Power Wagon, great concept, but come on Dodge - I know, I know "Ram", It's still a fucking Dodge to me! - PUT THE DAMN CUMMINS IN IT! I might buy it then.

The Raptor, hands down bad ass, but the thing drinks fuel like I drink beer at a party....where does that get you...250 miles? I can stretch that from the Ranger...with a smaller fuel tank!

The GMC - has a diesel, built for dirt, and looks the best of all of them, plus as a contractor it is built more as a lifestyle pick up for the working man. That is exactly what I need. Give me that truck in a crew cab, it already has the Allison transmission (I love a manual transmission which can be found in the Dodge only) that is a tried and true design with tons of OEM and aftermarket support, it's got a diesel as stated before...equates to better mileage and a better payload capacity (two huge things for me) and GM interiors - having been in all of these types of trucks RAM, GM, and Ford in the last year - is best hands down for fit, finish, and driver comfort. I spend a ton of time driving, as I generally work no where close to my place of residence, I need something comfy as hell. The one major fault on this truck, that the Dodge does not suffer from, but the Ford also has is the IFS set up. Give me a solid axle all day long! You can't beat the ride of IFS though once you have broken that barrier lol Trust me, I've been there, driven that.

The Raptor, pretty good in the desert and such. Built of Higher speed stuff, like Baja. Not as well in the offroad/trails area for pre 2012 models. 2012+ we'll have to wait and see..the changes made could make or break it. It does still look funny though

The PowerWagon..good in the slower off-road trail end of things. Deep mud, trails, recovery, etc i think it would do pretty decent. Looks pretty good

The Ram Runner...Ram's Raptor equivalent. Probably just as good as the Raptor in the eyes of the people who will be buying it. Die hard racers may say different, but they probably wouldn't run either the Runner or the Raptor in a race..straight from the factory. I think it has a nicer look to it than the Raptor.

They all perform better than a base truck would in the areas they are built for. If i had to chose one as a daily driver though..I'd go with the Powerwagon. Can get it in a 3/4 ton model, has the winch integrated into the front, looks nice, appears to perform well in the woodlands and should in snow more so than a Pre-runner style truck would. It's simply more practical in my book.
The Ramrunner according to what I have read, is the F150 on steroids, it is a desert only truck once you make the conversion, not that you can't use it for everyday use, but it isn't as comfy on road as the Ford.

And for whoever said the Dodge wasn't in production, the Power Wagon has been sold for over 5 years from Dodge dealers, but it's spendy like the Raptor. I see maybe 3 a week, the Raptor, I see maybe 6 a week. Now if they'd put the GMC into production, I might go buy one! If I can afford it...Otherwise, bring me a crewcab diesel manual transmission 4 wheel drive compact, I don't care who brings one to the states first, Ford, GM, Dodge, Toyota, Nissan, I'll go test drive it, if I like it, damn right I'll take one home then and there. I just don't need a fullsize, and they don't really use fullsize trucks in foreign countries, so why do I need one here? My Ranger has pulled a trailer both ways cross country, tows a trailer for me for work, I've loaded it to the max, and it still keeps going just fine. I'll take a more comfortable diesel compact over a full size that gulps fuel and I only use it to its full potential three times a year. I own a Sonoma, and a Ranger, and they both do more work then most fullsize half tons to 1 tons I have ever seen on the roads, and I lived in Montana, where trucks are TRUCKS, Men are MEN, and sheep are SCARED! Nuff said.

I said that the powerwagon you posted is a one off.
The powerwagon you can normally buy from the dealer is a top of the line Heavyduty truck, not a baja or desert racer. You have to convert it, just like a RamRunner.

Acutally, The RamRunner conversion is all Mopar done.
As far as i know when my Uncle bought his new challenger, They told him that any preformance upgrades done by Mopar only would still be under warranty.
