BE CAREFUL! Story out that birth control was replaced with placebo. And the placebo was the actual pill. Wrap it up boys!

Re: Members with GF's, Wife, etc...
Now, my thoughts....The governement is envolved. What a better way to produce 1 generation of youth at the same time. Taint the pills!!!!! Perhaps a more sinister plot to insure the democrates survival after the obama fiascle! Sorry, Im just paranoid that the governement is behind everything

Re: Members with GF's, Wife, etc...
Thanks for the heads-up, and I would like to add some thoughts. I don't want to hijack the thread.
1) I hate the words unwanted pregnancy. I feel those words should be replaced with the words unintended or unplanned pregnancy, but never unwanted.
2) That is a big error that 1.5 million packages got recalled. Hopefully, very little unintended pregnancies will occur.
On the same note, I heard that birth control for guys is getting near approval for use in the U.S. and is only a couple years away. The male version works by somehow rendering the sperm useless and unable to fertizilize the eggs. Most males are probably against male birth control, but I would definitely give it a try.

Agreed on 1,2 and 3. If male birth control came out I would try it.

It may be unwanted, but it has a negative conotation. From what I've heard, male birth control is safer than women's birth control since we don't have the hormones and cycles they deal with. It has already been approved in some countries in Europe, but the FDA is the final hurdle here.

it has a negative connotation because, for many guys, having a kid IS a negative thing at certain points in their life. If I had a kid right now, it'd be terrible

My wifes was one of them who had the pills recalled. If your significant other is affected the pharmacy where she gets her pills should have already contacted her. We were sweating bullets when we found that out, we just had a kid 4 months ago.

I've never used a condom in my life.
because that would require a woman.

The negative connotation isn't due to the male opinion, although such an opinion is popular. The female is taking birth control because she doesn't want a pregnancy. Thus, the pregnancy would be unwanted.
