Build Sheet ?

Does anybody know where Ford would hide the Build sheet for the trucks ? under the seats, inside the seats, under the carpet ? It would be fun just to see exactly how my truck left the factory, and with the exact options. I have also heard that I might be able to get a copy of the build sheet from Ford, does anybody know if this is true ?

google stuff like vin decoder and stuff. there are sites that decode vins and tells you exactly what options it had, where/when it was made, and everything.

Well i know my truck was made November 17, 1993

Yep, I have already done that, the build sheet is the exact order sheet that goes with every auto and truck as it is being built on the assembly line. No two build sheets will ever be the same, as the Vin number will always be different even if 300 other trucks rolled off the line with the exact options and colors as yours.

i know mine was made July 23 2003...just go to the website and print the results and presto theres your build sheet lol

I'm pretty sure Ford doesn't do that like GM did with the vettes, or we would probably know about it. I've had almost every piece apart on my truck (aside from the dash) and I did not see a build sheet nor remnants of one anywhere.

for all we know the factory might have thrown them out lol

u can email ford and give them your vin and they will send you a copy of your build sheet

I know that all makes had, and have a build sheet, sometimes they were tossed out while being built, but most were not. I know that Chevy sometimes even put them on top of the gas tank, or would hide them anyplace. Also, the chevy build sheets not only had the options, colors etc., but also exact gears in the rear end. I just thought that it would be fun to find mine if it was still in the truck, someware hidden.

I just looked at my build sheet. there's a lot of code numbers/letters that really don't make any sense.

Ware did you find your build sheet ?
