Default carprofit.com questions....

Has anyone ever heard of these guys or even used their products by any chance?

http://www.carprofit.com/default.aspx

The reason I'm asking about these guys is because I am considering starting a business in the auto industry and I've yet to find any info on these guys that would tell me wether this is legit or not. They claim to help people get an auto dealers liscense to become either an auto broker or dealer in just about any state. So if anyone can help me out with some info about these guys it would be greatly appreciated. I have found virtually no reviews or anything negative about them so far. And they claim to have been around since 1998 which is nothing to sneeze at these days.

I might help you with that considering all of the crap we've been through this year. I won't go into it unless I think it's legit. A few guys put something together similar to this and they didn't do business the right way. You'll find them in Federal Prisons across the U.S. They got nailed for fraud while these guys stayed in business. They seem like they're legit so far. I'd like to go into the antique auto brokerage or even become an auto dealer myself. My number one rule would be not to rip anyone off and to do business the correct way.

Yep you're right about that. Before mom got her new car, we went to at least 8 dealerships and only 2 seemed to be interested in selling her a car. The rest tried to tell us a pile of B.S. in which I said we should've brought the rubber waiders out because of all of the crap we just heard. I told this to an Empire Ford dealer over the phone when he called back just a few days ago. All the others did was blow hot air. Marion Automotive Group was extremely professional and easy to do business with. Friendship Ford was also pretty easy to do business with as well, but they wanted too much for a down payment and they expected us to buy something "sight unseen". They just wanted too much money and a question that never got answered was the deciding factor. If I did get into this I would've done business like GM did with us.

Ya my moms fiance just bought her a new Ford Escape and he told them straight up what she wanted and what he wanted the payments to be and they crunched numbers and told him upfront how much his down payment would be. In and out with a brand new car in less then three hours. I was impressed

That's how it should be done. Only 2 dealers out of 8 really did that. What dealer did he go to?

I've heard of these guys. My ex boss from Fedex Custom Critical use to live in Severeville, TN. They tried to screw me over about 8 years ago and it didn't happen either. I saw right through their bull. But that was 8 years ago too. I can't believe how Empire Ford in Abingdon treated us. Especially considering that I bought my ranger from them 8 years ago.

Waste of money. All your buying is information, information that is available freely on the internet.

Thanks guys for your help. I'll use google to see what info I can find on starting an auto dealership/brokerage. It seems like to me that it would be alot easier to go that route rather than using carprofit.com . Plus it seems like they want alot of money for some info and access to their network.
