Default Screw the job.......

Well aparently someone screwed the pooch somewhere and it wasn't me either. As you all know I reported that I had a job that paid $15.00 bucks an hour. Well I started this job this morning and said to hell with it. He does not pay $15.00 bucks an hour, he pays $10 bucks in cash per day and I wouldn't get paid until he sold what he had. There's no insurance of any kind and no taxes either. I just can't see driving roughly around 50+ miles a day for a measly $10 bucks in cash that I wouldn't get until all of what he has gets sold. I'd basicly be working for free if I had stayed with them.

Nah, he said if I didn't think this was for me there's no hard feelings at all. He knew that it might be too tough on me driving wise and about my health issues before I started.

Depends on the line of work. It's really not good at all for full-service lawn care including but not limited to weeding, mowing an acre with a pushmower, raking the entire yard, blowing leaves off all the walkways and driveways, picking up all the sticks in the flower gardens, cleaning the gutters, trimming trees, trimming bushes, hauling mulch/rock/sand/etc, and occasional light bulb replacement. I myself can knock most of that out in about 4 hours. $40 for all that just absolutely sucks.

True, but if your working for yourself its horrible. If your just a worker, 10 cash is about the same as 13-14 with taxes. What I would do when I was laying block was we work for 9 months get laid off, collect umemployment, then go work a cash job for the winter. If you can knock down 400 a week in cash thats livable!
