didnt think oil had to be stabilized. I have used the fuel treatment and didnt really see any result. Seafoam is good though. Search the trifecta. Is there a particular problem you are trying to solve adding this?

I put it in my Chevy silverado and it made my lifters knock but it is also an oil thickener and i put it in in like 0 degree weather so i would recommend it durring the summer or warm weather

Ford and every US manufacturer warns against using additives of any kind.

i'd stick with full synthetic oil, a good filter and no addatives. after seeing how well mobil1 full synthetic holds up after 5-6k miles it's all i use.

^^ there's no reason to run it. I have a 2.3L OHV approaching 200K that's only seen dino or syn-blend (whatever is on sale w/o a Fram or STP filter), 10w30 is all it needs, runs with no ticks, not even on cold first start up on these 10 degree mornings. Like Backcountry96 stated, you don't want to thicken your oil in cold climate.
