Default ford does love the ranger!

Ford loves the ranger. You know how i know. Watch this CNN interview with the VP of Ford. Keep a close eye on the vehicle they show being assembled. They're all Rangers. The vehicle that Ford chose to show while talking about why they are still in viable position is the Ranger. Thats love!

i don't want to start a feud on here but instead of ford being built ford tough they should say the all new ranger " if it's not broke don't fix it"..?

maybe that's why the ranger hasn't been changed in "12 years"

I say keep the Ranger, update as necessary, but don't screw with the premise. Th VW Beetle kept the same basic configuration in the US for 23 years, and then in Mexico for another 30. If it ain't broke, don't screw it up. Cab on frame, proven suspension, tough motors, good fuel economy. I see nothing wrong with that. I would hate to see the Ranger go the way of the Tacoma, Colorado, Durango and the others. Mid-size trucks suck. If you don't want a mini truck, get a full size.

Proven suspension aka IMPROVE IT!!!!! FINALLY give us some damn coil-overs up front and ditch these stupid ass torsion bars. All your compeditors have 'em..shoot you improved the 04 F150 to have em and ditched the previous gen torison bars. FIX your stupid ass slave cyl and manual trans reliability issues!! Bump the size up a little bit, but not much. Get it to Colorado/Canyon size...just a small bump up in size from the current Ranger/old S10. But not as big as a Frontier or Tacoma, though I really do want that size in a Ranger. Follow the same exterior design you've been for years....aka copying the fullsizes. The new unibody explorer(dumb) is getting a 2.0L EcoBoost...Ranger should get that engine too.

man i love the ranger the way they are perfect. torsion bars idgaf about mine are just fine. do hate i need to get a spindle lift to get the right lift. my t-bars are already cranked. and I DO AGREE with the slave and master!! my master has been replaced and my slave has been going out for the last 6 months but just a fling on the clutch pedal makes it work just fine. i freak out ford delers when i fling the clutch pedal and my gears work again LMFAO i love my tough ass ford leave them the way they are. perfect little trucks for the money and different subject whats up with the winter blend gas i hate it. burns up quicker!! they put more alcohol in it i heard. im at 29 miles and its just above my quarter full. miss my summer gas
