 then wrap it up and take it to the doc tomorrow for his opinion. ER isn't going to do anything but clean and wrap it and charge too much.

yea after the GF bothered me enough and bribed me with food, i went and they told me to keep it clean and wrapped and gave me a tetanus shot. the Dr said that i am more of a man than him he wont touch chainsaw and to cut my thumb like this and keep goin and wait most of the day. and yea i wouldn't go to the ER it would be the med-quick but ER is faster to put than MED quick in the title.

Doesn't look too bad. I took the tip off of my pointer finger with a hammer two summers ago. My girl forced me to go to the ER. I ended up getting 6 stitches, and had a shattered finger tip. My orthopedic Dr. told me to soak my finger in a solution of Dial soap and water for 10 minutes twice a day, you may want to consider this. Now, onto my pics.
The initial wound...  All stitched up.   9 days later, a bit of flesh was rotting. YUM!  15 days later, something is missing....   37 days later  Here it is as good as it will ever be. I can't use it like I used to, this is especially noticeable while working on my vehicles.

yea i did that with my toe, but it healed back fine just the toe nail grow a little weird some times,i was crushing up a concrete foundation and the sledge slipped off the side of the concrete and right on to my steel toes busting them and my big toe
