Advice On Side Job
So I need some new ideas... I've been trolling craigslist for like a month trying to pick up a side job. Currently I work 8-5ish and I just need some extra money to get by since my spare bedroom is taking forever to rent out. Since I'm a girl I tried getting some ameture modeling gigs but that doesn't seem to be working out either... evenings M-Th work best for me and I've tried valet, hostess, receptionist... I'm not gonna be a stripper... any other suggestions??

Haha... sorry... meaning I have no experience so not a serious gig...
And no to the fast food... I'm more looking for an odd job type thing... maybe no set schedule?? I'm not super desperate and some people need the more reliable schedule so I've tried to go for the stuff that won't pay most peoples bills...

I'm trying to get a short side job too. I've called the newspaper company and see if they need people. Depending on a route, some may pay between 200 - 700 a month. I"m trying to get a Sunday bulk route that pulls in roughly $500 a month. NOt bad for a month's 1x a week run.
I've never worked in a restaurant but a lot of people do that.

Some things I can think of...
Baby sitting
Tutoring (even just little kids, you don't need to be a brainiac)
Various jobs available at schools and around colleges
Realistically the potentials are endless. I would consider three main things if you're just looking for a random part time job:
1) Look for some perks you would use (EG: employee discount @ a store you frequent)
2) You enjoy the type of work
3) It would look good on a resume and/or provide you good job experience.

I always check out the gigs section of craigslist. One time job opportunities for the most part. I sadly had to pass up helping at a local brewfest cause I was out of town...
