Default the ranger has an appointment with the dealership soon

my ranger is going to the dealership to get the "works" done!

i trust these guys with my ranger as they have helped me out before with other cars and solving problems with this truck.

anyone else ever have this done yet?

its only $25 bucks and they do an oil change, top off all my fluids, check around, tire rotation, i think they also check the steering parts and things like that.

tell you the truth it kinda scares me lol i'm the only one who works on my truck

truck should be fine, as long as you take care of your stuff and you maintain , surprises are pretty limited especially in reliable vehicles. I dont believe in car surprise problems just:
1-Unreliability and
2-owner negligence (this I see too much of and it pisses me off)

My truck has been to a dealer once for a recall and I haven't been back since because they told me I needed new brakes the day after I replaced everything on them

I did, but it was only for its first oil change. However my mom did bring her Toyota in too. While they didn't find anything wrong with the Toyota they did bash her door and break the thing that holds the hood up.

Ranger was flawless though!

I hate stealerships, nothing bad expericences so far. I love how ppl rave about warranties, but a warranty is only as good as the dealership that needs to honor it.

I have yet to take my truck to Ford for anything service oriented. The only reason I would ever think about even letting them touch it is for life or death recalls, or for impossible to diagnose issues.

Did it have warranty when you bought it?

I can do most anything that the dealer would do, so I don't even bother.
