Day #1 of a long year ahead...
I took my bestfriend to the airport at 6:00am this morning. He ships from Indiana to Iraq this week for a year. Him and I have been through a lot together. We dated for 2 years and he made some bad decisions due to his crazy ex girlfriend. We have been broken up for a year and recently started hanging out again. He has been gone for the past 3 months for training and came home for the weekend on friday. I am so proud of him and scared at the same time. Praying he comes home safe....

I'm kinda dealing with the same thing currently, with a close family member deploying this week. Btw, totally didnt know you were a girl when first reading this and was like: "wtf!?!".. lol
