Default DoD Contract Jobs

Anyone know anything about them or currently under a contract for one? For my job specificly we have civilians comming and driving the 60k's , something my job already does, for like 120,000 plus a year. SO before finalizing my career outlook I would like to look into this.

It is very common for contractors to be paid significantly more than an equivalent government employee. Sometimes double. Contractors are easier to hire, easier to fire, easier to control, and sometimes cheaper once you factor in benefits and longevity.

Now, 120k to drive around a loader seems a little strange.

Defense contractors fleecing the taxpayers as usual. Seems the only people who don't make big money in the National Defense loop are the once who actually serve and stand a post.

Well in that case, it is probably also a little back scratching too.
