Default I may be a Homeowner soon.

Yeah well, I meant to say home owner but anyways. Went to look at a house last Tuesday. It wasn't bad but needs some work. One good thing about that house is that i won't really need to buy any beer, I could just sit out on the front porch and watch the bat shit crazy neighbors. Here's the first one:

The guy to the right is a crazy ex military, Im sure you guys know the type. the guy to the left shouldve graduated with me but he quit his senior year... yeah makes sense doesnt it? and the guy across the street huffs starting fluid, drinks rubbing alcohol and eats copperheads. So yeah, entertainment would be a given.

Here's the 2nd place, the one we're going to look at tomorrow. I think this may be the one. It looks like an excellent starter home and honestly it doesnt take much to please me, so I'm thinking this might be it. Both places are in the town that I currently live in so moving wouldnt be a big thing at all.

Anybody have any advice? Some of the older guys maybe. I don't know what I can get approved for yet, but I shouldnt have an issue getting 50k. I work 2 full time jobs. (76 hours a week) I owe only $1700 on the ranger and between 2 credit cards, I only owe a little less than $500.

I'll be watching this thread as I just put my earnest money in for a home in the area.

Wish houses around here are 35-50k, most of them are tear downs.

Good Luck! I should be closing on our first house this week. Be prepared for let downs, and get any inspection done. It is worth the money to know exactly what you are getting before you sign the papers. shop around for your insurance, loans, etc.
