So after speaking with the doctor some more, it sounds like it's a fairly common event, as she put it. Apparently, the placenta acted as a boxing bag between the baby and my sisters stomach making it so she couldn't feel the baby kick. And I'm not sure what you mean by getting fat in the wrong place. It's pretty hard for me to tell the difference on my sister, but then again I don't generally look to see where exactly the fat is. Either way, she had the baby and she is a healthy little girl. 7lbs 3oz, 20 inches long and looks just like my sis.
A bunch of family came in last night to greet her tomorrow when she comes home, and hopefully help my mom out with some last minute stuff on her house since I gotta work. Ended up turning one of their spare bedrooms into a nursery for my sister and the baby, just gotta finish the flooring and trim.
