There are codes for railing heights and sometimes fences too.
Kinda like prison - you want the (should I say it?) to be contained on one side.

fuck bitches get money - disrespecting...? Hmmm...

Alex,
You just walked out into the crossfire!! Duck!

"it was an accident, you don't have to be stupid to fall over a railing."
Really? Are you serious?
not to be "that guy," because i'm usually the type to say things like this, but i think that for everyone's sake including your own you should no longer post in this thread. this was an accident, no doubt about it. but to post what you did was not the proper way to go about things in light of the situation.

some of those "safety railings" at stadiums are way to low.
when I built my deck on my house, in 1993, the city code said the top of the rail around the deck had to be a minimum of 42" high. And thats a deck thats only 9 feet off the ground.

So it's not proper to be honest?
It's not proper to express ones self?
Is it proper to only say and do what is acceptable to the majority?
Is it proper to live life hiding ones thoughts and feelings?
Is it proper to walk through life hoping that no one will be offended, insulted or have their feelings hurt by what I say and do?
Is it proper to strive to protect others feelings when they themselves have become so hyper sensitive that it just becomes a game that can't be won?

This forum is filled with insults and offenses.
I think I fit right in.
Then again, if I really gave a fuck I would...
Nah, I wouldn't.

Yall need to show the man some respect. Its sad. He put his life on the line to save others from danger and its tragic that this happened. Now his 6 year old son is without a father, and worse he witnessed his father die. Have you never reached out for a ball at a game to give to your son, or did your father ever do it for you?

Tragic. That poor kid. I feel for the whole family. Just out for some good fun and then to never go home again.

When I saw it on the news this morning, they kept replaying the video of him falling. Really didn't think it was necessary to broadcast a man falling to his ultimate death. Over and over.

They said some of his last words were when he told the paramedics to take care of his son. His son probably thought daddy would get up and walk back up into the stands. Really sad situation.

+1, and an unbelievable tragedy for anyone to witness or hear of.

Yeah, and the article I read said that the son rode in the front of the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Yes, and thankfully, Nolan Ryan (president of the Rangers) asked the media to stop showing the actual fall in honor of the family's request. I can't believe how many times they show the man leaning over.

the guy who tried to catch him is also probably feeling lousy now; even though it wasn't his fault and there really wasn't anything else he could have done.
