I couldn't agree more. Everybody threw a little bit of wrong into the pot.

Like you and I said at the begining of this thread, someone screwed the pooch and they know it now more than ever. I can't wait till Dateline interviews the jury members of that trial and digs a little deeper as to what was witheld from the media during this time later on down the road myself.

I wish there was a way to bring back little Kaylee, but we cant. We will never really know what happen to her. Her whole family was covering this up. The State of Florida didn't provide the physical, medical, or scientific evidence for the jury. The Jury had to make the call based on the evidence. Since there was nothging for them to make the call with they gave her a "Not Guilty." Im sorry Kaylee, we didnt provide you justice. Blame the State of Florida for not putting away your killer with the evidence for a "guilty" verdict. RIP Kaylee.

X2. little Kaylee didn't deserve that. No child deserves that at all in my book. How can someone kill a child is beyond me. I couldn't and wouldn't. This is a sad day for american justice.

One of the alternate jurors, juror 14, just spoke out on telephone interview somehow.

The State of Florida gets what the Detectives seek out and find. The State Attorneys don't go out and find answers, the detectives do. The lack of evidence fault lies with the Orange County Sheriff's office.

Yep. I would like to have been a fly on the wall while the jury deliberated. And I bet anything that juror is pretty broken up right now as well. That was pretty quick. Usually you wouldn't hear anything for a few months afterwards concerning a murder case.

Orange County is the main to blame, but the state of Florida could have waited for more evidence. Why take something to trial, if you dont have the proof?

That's a question that everyone wants to know really. They could've waited alot longer than they did. This has to be one of the shortest murder trials and investigations in U.S. History.

They could have waited, but most if not all of the solid incriminating evidence was already gone, so they went with what they had. The State of Florida thought that it would be easy, but they didn't realize that JB would attack their evidence and expert witnesses so well.

There is some big missing parts to this story. Why oh why did 31 days go by? The entire Anthony family knows what happened to Kaylee. Casey just got the short end of the stick. Casey was a heavy drinker, so were many people in her family. What if Kaylee really drowned, but no one noticed or knew because they were drunk. Then, when they got thier heads out of thier ass, they tried to cover it up. Is that why there was 31 days?

I think we all can say that the cop that ignored the first report from Roy Klonk is the main person to blame and that this was a botched investigation from the word go. Plus they forgot that the attorney she had was an expert criminal attorney at one point who defended Joseph Merlino a known mob boss and got his sentence reduced from 42 years down to 14 instead.

Or was there 31 days because Casey moved in with her boyfriend, and spent those 31 days partying and getting "Beautiful Life" tattoos?

Honestly believe any defense attorney could have picked apart their evidence and experts.

When you have a medical examiner who says I dont know what killed her. Why even put her on the stand after you go on saying that chloroform was used to kill the child?

Dr. G was put on because of her testimony that the child was killed by homicidal means, and that no signs of blunt force trauma were found on the skeletal remains.
