Because it shows all the dirt and evverything because its such a dark contrast. Im partial to gray. Im going to talk her into us buying gray because it show dirt and stuff least. I too hate tan as I had it in my 94. I think all interior carpet shoud be gray haha

she was worried it would contrast too much with the tan seats, BUT here is a pic of one with factory gray and tan leather seats

You make a good point sir, I have grey in my GMC and it does a good job of hiding crap. I like the interior you posted as well. I'd say do it! Just don't cry when you see the price...
