Soooo pissed
Well yesterday, my Sara calls me up pretty upset. Someone who had rode in her new car left their bottle of MiO in behind the driver seat in the floorboard without her knowing and some of it leaked out on her way home. She was left with this:
We have tackled it with Tuff Stuff, Simple Green, Clorox 2 (colorsafe bleach), Awesome Cleaner, Simple Green, Bissel Green Machine, etc. It hasnt even lightened up or any came out. Im afraid it wont ever. The car is our 2010 Ford Fusion that we have only had 2 months. Im gonna say its going to have to be replaced or dyed.....

There's one kind that might, but it's hard to find though. Clorox Color safe bleach did have a citrus formula at one point in time. Purex Laundry detergent now has a similar formula. To give you a little more details about this stuff, I got cut very badly at work one night that required several stitches and blood got in my clothes. This stuff that I mentioned, removed dried blood so it should bring this out no problem. If it doesn't it will have to be dyed or replaced. What you do is let it soak in the stain for about 10 minutes or longer. Then you take a scrub brush to it. Use one with very stiff bristles and but do go on the easy on it and let the brush do the work. Let it sit for about 5 more minutes, then take your bissel machine to it.

It's that liquid flavoring that you can add to ordinary drinking water.

And to think that stuff is going into people's bodies. Basicly I consider it unhealthy. Just drink plain old water instead. That's what I think really.

If it will do that to carpet, then you can imagine what it does to a human being. Not good is a collective understatement. I don't see how people drink it myself. It's got a really bad after taste to it.

Thanks. I'm in a similar boat with both my wife's tan colored interior Edge and our light colored apt. carpet, and I have a Bissell that I'm ready to try out -- but have heard lots more negative than positive.
