Yes, we do it in MIchigan where I'm from go figure, but there isn't enough snow to get excited about here in PA.

I used to be in it, but it got too expensive. I used to have an Apex pretty much all stock except 3 inch risers, Goldfinger, and front Fox shocks. It got too expensive for me to justify it. And plus out here I could only ride it like 4 months out of the year. Anywhere that was decent was 2+ hrs away.

I sold that, and got a Grizzly 700. Not I'm putting more money in to the Grizzly that I would ever consider with my sled, funny how that works.

very expensive sport for sure

teh sleds are soo pewerful and fast but also a LOT of money too
and the main probelm is the season is sooo short and soo dependent on the weather

also, most people are busy during winter and dont have the same time they have in the summer.

its not too expensive.

the sled = $4000 used
chip = $40
windshield = $80

=$4120

and since i ride alot, its about $1000 a winter, so alltogether i spent $5120 including the sled
i do all the work on it myself, so no garage bills

each year i average about $1000 a winter in snowmobiling

I used to enjoyed it when I was younger, but lately winter been lack of snow, so it's no longer fun and not worth spending money on something that will be used 4 to 9 times a winter.
