So you already had his blood tested? Or are you relying on the statement of the bartender... who knows he could be held civilly liable for the death of two people for knowingly letting someone leave and drive hammered? You can't base a conclusion of "he was not drunk" on the word of someone like that. Nor can you base it on the number of drinks he had since I doubt you know how fast he metabolizes booze. 6 drinks in in 4.5 hours is enough to get most people impaired and over the limit.

Can any of (including me) conclusively say he was drunk? No. Was he drinking enough to very likely be drunk, absolutely. Did he drive after drinking that much, yes. It actually may not be possible to determine what his BAC is depending on how badly burned his body was, as gruesome as that sounds.

In the end, drunk or not doesn't really matter. The speed he was operating at was with absolute reckless disregard for his own life and the lives of everyone else and that's something he did sober anyway. And at that speed, on that road, in that maneuver, even a stone cold sober person would have had the same crash causing the same amount of death and destruction. The crime of vehicular homicide would be the same as well since DUI is not a requirement. So even if by chance he wasn't drunk, it doesn't really change a thing.

The dude deserves sympathy. He was to young to die. Although he did drive drunk, and take another life with him. He's still a human being, and from I've seen on tv a very funny, and nice guy.

Side note: I hope this death doesn't make Steve-o relapse.. :/

He's a human being that killed someone due to not giving a crap about anyone but himself. I just can't wrap my head around how that deserves sympathy.

I wish he didn't die too... because he got off too easy and probably didn't feel a thing. I would much rather he suffer in prison for 10-15yrs for the vehicular homicide.

I'm fairly certain they were unconscious immediately, if not deceased immediately.

Theres just more crap being flung around in the Chimp cage. Ryan dunn is dead, was he innovative in his stunts yes, Did he drink and drive, we dont know for sure, was he speeding, we dont know for sure, can we hypothisize, yes we can but lets keep it to ourself until the facts come out in 4-6 weeks with his autopsy. Until then lets keep the childish bullshit to minimum, we are entitled to an opinion lets keep it at that.

jealousy? of what? lack of regard for human life and general stupidity? thats absurd.

Obviously we all have differing views of this but one thing we can all agree on is that this is just a shitty situation no matter how you cut it and its a sad story.

Damn you got me. That's totally it. Deep down, I really wish I was just like him. Killing innocent people, recklessly endangering the lives of those I don't kill, destroying the lives of people's loved ones, driving around all drunk. Totally busted. If only I could be like him.

I think you may be a little off in that assessment. I don't think anyone in this thread who doesn't feel sympathy and/or respect for him feels that way because they're jealous.

I agree, for the most part.

I 100 percent agree about the bartender probably lying about the number of drinks he had. Anyone who has done any bar-tending knows you are supposed to stop serving the person when they become noticeably intoxicated. You CAN be held liable for continuing to serve that person, and then having something happen. The bartender is trying to cover his own ass. Plain and simple.

I can say, chances are this isn't the first time he has driven drunk. I'm sure he has done it many times, only this time it bit him in the ass. But, none of us can assume anything until the facts are out in the weeks to come. Hell...we don't even know if Dunn was driving.

Do I think the passengers are totally innocent? No. Do you think Dunn forced them into the car? Hell no. They got in themselves, knowing he had drinks (if that is what happened.) Either way...i'm sure they weren't yelling at him to "slow down" when he was out taking them for a joyride in his Porsche. Also...something we will probably never know.

And too all you who are so surprised by this...why? I could see it coming from anyone who was on the cast of *******. They do stupid fvcking shit for a living..."daredevils" if you will. You can't do that shit your whole live, and expect it to not catch up with you.

One more thing...to any of you that can't handle the opinions of others on this forum, and insist on posting "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't post," you might want to shut the computer down and go watch some cartoons. Life is full of apposing opinions....get used to it.
