Re: The Beer Thread!
The only thing I like about fall besides hunting season. Love a good Octoberfest beer.

That Ranger IPA is awesome. The fat tire is great too.

I want to like beer but I can't acquire a taste for it. Shock top isn't bad but most others I can't finish the bottle. I'll buy a single here and there just to try and find one I like but no luck.
I've been told to buy the cheapest beer and just chug them and if I could do that I could drink any beer. 12 pack and incoherent later didn't change squat.
I drink liquor mostly but it'd be nice to have something cheaper and just more options. I love jagermeister and a honey liquor that I can't spell but has a hell of an after burn. Any advice on how to acquire the taste of beer?

I was the same way, then everytime I got around my brother he wanted to play beer pong. So needless to say I have no problem drinking beer anymore. Damn, kinda wished I had some at the moment!

Yeah, stop drinking shitty beer, get quality good stuff, IMO I'd start with the sierra Nevada pale ale. Stay away from stouts and ipas for now. Drink good lagers and ales. Maybe even red ales

Re: The Beer Thread!
I found Moosehead by accident and it is a very good beer. In fact, I am into Canadian beers, so if I eat out, I typically get LaBatte (spl?) or Molson on draft. If I go to the gas station, it would vary based on how much money I have, so I stick with Coors or Rolling Rock, but I know that my local Target and Giant Eagle both carry Moosehead, which I prefer over LaBatte or Molson.

Lmao. I have a friend that owns a smoke / beer shop so I'll have to go raid him. He usually throws new smokes or whatever at me and says try this so maybe I'll luck out and get free beer.
What kind of beer is shock top? Since I can drink it maybe I'll do good with something similar?
I've tried
Shock top ..liked it better than the rest
Most Budweiser has to offer.. eh
Coors light ..hell no
Sam Adams ..so so
Blue moon ..not so much
Abita purple haze ..eh
Lonestar ..oh no
Michelobe light and others ..nope
Miller light ..never again
Guinness ..wtf nasty
Corona ..with enough lime and salt
Shiner Bock ..not bad
some others I don't remember

I'm not too picky about beer since I'm usually hella broke. But I really like Amber Bock. I also like ciders, and Magners is definitely my favorite.

American beer seems gassy, and I absolutely under no circumstance can drink Bud anything.
A decent beer made by Michelob, I think.
