It is. I'm a big fan of Sierra Nevada. This here is pretty hoppy and it's 7.1 ABV

Hey that's always a plus no matter what it tastes like. Its funny because all my buddies that drink Budweiser and whatever hate hoppy beers. Its an acquired taste

I have always loved brown ales and mostly darker stuff, that's after growing out of mainstream beers such as bud, and I still do but I got into IPA's last year. When I first tried them I was like 'Aw hell no" way too fruity and hoppy. Then I told myself just drink a six and don't drink any other beer before hand or eat any food. I was hooked. They definately grow on you.

I may be a little buzzed right now lol

I'm jealous. I've been trying to put together ingredients for an amber ale to try it for my first time. Brother in law has the equipment I just need a keg.

And on a side note shock top sucks. Should've figured based on who its made by

LOL about the shock top! haha
you can just recycle your 'pop-top' bottles and re-cap them until you find the kegerator that you want!

Re: The Beer Thread!
Never thought about that. Wise man. I enjoy my beer so much I never thought of doing something useful with the waste!
