Looks tasty man. Nice head for a Pilsner

Thanks! yeah the head on this batch disappears more quickly when its warmer. the cold glass helped it stay there a while. i'll do a porter or stout soon and show you the head on those - i'm getting closer to a 'guinness' like head.

I wish I hadn't opened this thread. I have to go to work tonight, and I'm pretty stressed out already as it is.

I'm gonna spend my whole night and tomorrow morning wishing I could throw one back.

I'm having that same magic hat black ipa right now. Not bad. Kind of a chocolaty finish. But yesterday I was on the mower and it was leinenkugels summer shandy. That's right I drink the shandy when its hot and I'm sweating my ass off.

I didn't mind the magic hat. A little too chocalatey and roasted for a hot day though. Tonight it's this beer that's been growing on me lately. I like Sierra's Ruthless Rye but this is really close and it's easier to find around here.

i don't know why i like this cheap beer so much, but it's my favorite 'hot ass sweaty day' beer to drink after mowing or whatever.
