I don't understand.
Swagelok sets the bar for high purity SS valves and fittings. 1/4 turn ball valves are the most common for high pressure and high flow. Regulators are used to control the flow, not a valve.

lol thats a myth. you could cover the tracks in gravel basically and the train would turn it into sand. each of those empty cars weighs something like 85 tons, i dont even know what a locomotive weighs.... but ill do everything i can to pull friends in.

that was suppose to be grease not guess

our gas valves coming into our building before they get to our meters are ball valves. they shoot grease in them that work as a packing gland. ours leak all the time. i think the design of that valve is shitty. everytime it rains you see the valves bubbling at the packing gland.
