I think this is a day of reflecting on those who gave their lives for the freedoms we take for granted. Freedom isn't free, and THANK YOU to all of those that have served or are serving our country. We don't really give you thanks enough IMO. SEMPER FI to all of my fellow marines as well.

Thank you to all that have served. This holiday means a lot more to me lately with the gf being in the Air Force.

RIP my fallen brother from another mother. R.I.P to all of those whom paid the ultimate price for us. You are never forgotten nor will be forgotten. This day was and is yours.

Grandpa - Norm in my sig. 11th Airborne WWII, Pacific theatre, served in HQ Company, Staff Sargent 1943 to 1946. Just since someone else posted it up figured I would too. I cleaned up the site for Grandma last year, and put up a flag. Wasn't much, but gave me some time with the old man, even if only in my head. Also made Grandma happy. Always a bonus.

Both of my Grandfathers served in WWII under McArther in the Phillipines. One of them also did a tour in North Africa. I didn't get to know my granpa Davidson, he died when I was 3. But my other grandpa I knew very well. He and I use to watch WWII specials on the history channel. I miss them both.
