Default For Those of You Who Hunt With a Shotgun......

EoTech/Aimpoint red dot or fiber optic sights for hunting sights on a pump shotgun for waterfowl, upland, and turkey?

i was leaning towards fiber optic because its simpler. i was trying to see if anyone actually ran a red dot on their shotgun because ive seen shotguns using a red dot in ads and other things, and not the burris one.

i wouldn't use any of that on a shotgun. just point in the direction and shoot youll hit it.

I have considered the red dot only because i hunt Turkeys, 4 inch spread at 40 yards so you need to be a little accurate when removing the head.

A red dot sight is honestly just an unnecessary complication. If I saw someone hunting birds with one I would laugh at them.
