Re: Your favorite alcoholic drinks and how to make them?
After all I've been through as of late, I kindly like to have an ice cold bud light, or a nice corona. I wish I can get me a mexican beer right now. I haven't had one of those in almost 8 years. It use to be nice down there before the drug wars took over.

Small-Batch Bourbon on ice such as: Jefferson's, 1792, Russell's Reserve, Evan Williams etc…
or Beer… especially Oregon and Washington beers, from say Full Sail, Widmer, Laurelwood, Bridgeport, Chuckanut or Boundary Bay to name a few…or anything my brother brews.

Re: Your favorite alcoholic drinks and how to make them?
As you can see from the title under my name I am a Whiskey man. I particulary enjoy Stranahans whiskey made in Denver, CO. But I drink just about any whiskey and usually straight from a glass.
When I have to be socially acceptable "ie family/friend gathering, parties" it is a Seven and Seven:
They way I make them is 1/3 Seagram's Seven and 2/3 Seven up or Sprite
I found one drink that I make for my wife who likes the fruity crap call it Cinnamon 'n toast:
1/3 spiced rum (Captain Morgans)
2/3 hot apple cider
Little bit of cinnamon/sugar mix
1 cinnamon stick
And this weekend will be fun as I will be getting shit faced Saturday night with some friends. :-)

Re: Your favorite alcoholic drinks and how to make them?
Some of the best alcohol I've ever had was brewed the same way you'd make moonshine but not as strong. It's called Artesian liquor. Mild yet potent and smoother than any other liquor you can get. Most people whom make the old moonshine these days don't really care about the ingredients they use or how to make it properly. They just want to get high instead of enjoying a refreshing beverage. I do care, but I no longer drink now due to my CDL (commercial driver's liscense). My legal limit is
.04 even in my own vehicle which means about a teaspoon of alcohol at the most.
