Default Towing a raft with my jet ski

I am going camping to Indian Lake Islands in the Adirondaks in 5 weeks, and we are camping on an island. I have a creative idea to get the 4 of us and our gear out to the island. I plan on purchasing this inflatable raft. It will hold 3 people, and our gear for the trip. I will be on the jet ski towing. On to the boat info.
http://www.amazon.com/Intex-Excursion-5-Boat-Set/dp/B00177J4UC/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1305686366&sr=8-6

Measuring 12x5.5 ft fully inflated you have 10.5 x 4ft of usable space inside. This boat is rated between 880-1000lbs capacity.

Now, onto the question. Do you guys think this boat will be tough enough to be towed by my jet ski? We are going about 2-3 miles out on very calm water, and I will not be going fast at all 10-15 knots tops.

I am going to use the smart towing method, a rope that splits before the boat, and connects to two anchors on the boats front side corners. Tips, and suggestions are welcome.

Not too worried about plaining out, its just a way to get to the island.

Also, I want to make sure there are sufficient spots on the raft to tie the tow rope to.

I would reinforce the tie down spots with something. The raft is gonna want to dive no matter how slow you go. Try and set it up so your tow point is up high instead of down low. Ive tried this before with a couple different ski's. They had no problem pulling the raft.

Yeah the first time we tried it we ripped the tow points on the cheapo raft off and it deflated lol only once it worked good and it was cause we duck taped the crap outta it and made a pole to sit off the back of the ski so it wouldnt dive.

we duck taped a boogie board on the front to give the raft something solid. It helped some. the front didnt wanna fold in half after that.

I am also considering buying a used aluminum boat off of cl, but this would require to build some sort of frame for my truck that would allow the boat to sit up high for transport. I found a good detailed video about the boat on youtube, and I emailed guy who posted the video.
