The only true way to get enough power is to get a CRF450R or a Service Honda CR500AF < Win

Re: Moddin my Crf230f for performance gains!
i just got done riding the thing at 930 pm haha neighbors must have been pissed, I am honestly Thrilled at how much power this thing has now, it is almost comparable to my fathers Kdx200 which is a 2 stroke, and has about 40 hp... My 230 comes stock with 20 hp, now i'd say its got around 30-35 with the mods. I am amazed at the fact that i can't keep the front end down haha. Still some more tuning i gotta do but i'll leave that for tomorrow.

It ran pretty good when I first got it. But I just finished tearing the whole thing down as I got a crack in the transmission case. All thats left is a little fine tuning of the carb, a bit of break in for the new rings and then a good hard ride!

Thats a nice bike lots of respect for the antiques haha, I cannot wait to get out this summer. I don't know if your familiar with any tracks but, i live near Mx338 its where the 2004 Nationals were taken place. i am literally 5 mins away from that track i will probably bring my bikes to open practice once or twice and get my sh#$ wrecked by the other pro riders but whatever haha

Sorry, but I win.
1990 CR500. Most powerful production dirtbike Honda ever made. Mint condition. (Minus wear on the frame. That'll be repowdercoated soon.)
That 84 is still way powerful though!
