Default Snowed here today:(

So I went I bought a set of Bridgestone Blizzaks for the rear.

Now I just need about 300lbs of weight for the bed. Maybe get one of those "Shur Trax" bed weight thingy?

What do you other 2WD Ranger owners run in the winter?

I've used sand bags for years. But they are 5.99 a bag now & never make it thru more than 1 winter.

First, Alon you suck.

Second there's a lot of country around here I just stop off and get some spare downed trees and throw them in the back of my F150's, it works well and when we're done we just recycle them back to the woods. . .

I always put 3 of these concrete square blocks we got each one weighs roughly 100 pounds

I set them in the bed over the axle. Never had any problems. There was one year we had a lot of snow was up to my running boards on my truck and I had no problems

It has been crazy icy here the last few days and ppl dont get the slow down rule.

I dont have any weight in the back of my truck and almost never put it in 4x you just gotta know how to drive on the ice

A friend of mine in Pueblo has said it has been nutty down there with accidents especially along 125. My girl has to rive through there from Casper on her way home, it's looking like she might take a few extra days o the trip at this rate. . .

But don't feel bad people here in KCKS get into accidents regularly on clear sunny days add any kind of twist and it is anarchy!
