I took off the chrome door handles just now, they were a bitch! the chrome vent shades are gone, and the chrome bug deflector and i really want this lid gone

Goo-gone, I swear by it.

The previous owner of my old '00 put a bunch of homosexual dragon stickers all over it and pretty much went crazy at the Autozone sticker section. Goo gone took it all right off. I did leave some of them though so I could pick my truck out in a crowded parking lot.

Good to hear man! I don't mind a few stickers, but more than 3 or 4 is just overkill.

Looks much better now!

I hear ya 100% man. I like chrome, but not on something new. My F100, looks great in chrome. My Ranger, no. I'm still in the process of trying to get all the chrome off my Ranger. Chrome is so close to white in appearance that it doesn't really do anything for the truck. So goodbye it goes. About the only chrome it'll have is the chrome plated emblems.

1980. First year for non-metal dashes.
